AP Explore More The Yankees captain blasted his 50th home run of the year becoming just the fourth player in major league history and second Yankee to tally four seasons of at least 50 homers to put the Yankees ahead of the White Sox, 3-1, in the second inning in The Bronx. On a first-pitch sinker from Jonathan Cannon, Judge smacked the three-run shot in the home bullpen. The only other players with four 50-dinger seasons are Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.
