The and wide receiver A.J. Brown have seemed to be set for a split for quite some time now. Whether or not he is actually on the trade block seems to depend on who you believe, but he was connected to the immediately Jordan Staal Jersey following the team's lo s to the in the AFC Championship Game. The Broncos clearly needed another major offensive weapon in order to make a run at getting to the Super Bowl this coming season. With Brown seemingly on his way out in Philly when the season ended, it seemed a natural fit for the Broncos to make that move. However, , the idea was never considered by the team's front office. Instead, the Broncos to acquire their top wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, on Tuesday. The Broncos may have seen Brown as a po sible disruption in the locker room and that is why they chose to steer clear of that move, but there is a question of whether or not the Eagles even want to trade him and if they do, that the asking price of general manager Howie Roseman is way too high. Either way, the Broncos have instead ended up with the player they wanted dating back to last season, as rumors circulated that the Broncos were trying to trade for Waddle in November. BREAKIN NEWS: For now, Brown remains in Philadelphia and one of the top teams many thought would make a move for him is off the list.
