If there's one thing we know about the , it's that they are not afraid to make bold moves, whether that be with signings, trades or draft picks. This offseason alone, we've seen Los Angeles for Trent McDuffie, sign Jaylen Watson to a big contract and Dave Casper Jersey draft Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, which was their biggest offseason curveball. So, it's only logical for to suggest the Rams as a potential trade suitor for edge rusher Maxx Crosby. "Id also keep an eye on Maxx Crosby," Atkins said of the Rams po sible trading for the Pro Bowler. "He seems to have mended things with the Las Vegas Raiders after the trade to the was reversed, but the organizations approach could change if the Raiders hit another tough start to a season." Crosby wanted out of Las Vegas earlier this offseason and the Raiders obliged, sending him to the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks. However, because of a failed physical many believe the Ravens used as an excuse to pull out of the trade over cold feet, . And, after all that went down, Crosby re-committed to Las Vegas, so it doesn't look like he's going anywhere for the time being. We say "for the time being" because there's no telling what the future holds. If Las Vegas' current rebuild goes south, it's fair to a sume Crosby would re-visit his desire to be traded to a contender. It remains to be seen if the Raiders would still be able to get two first-round picks in that scenario, but the Rams have both of theirs over the next two years and Atkins notes Los Angeles isn't afraid to use them. "The Rams want to be one of the rare teams willing to trade from an expectedly loaded 2027 draft cla s, with the idea that theyll be picking at the very end of the first round," Atkins said. "But those conversations are more likely in October than they are right now." The Rams already have a good situation at edge rusher, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to add a top-notch player like Crosby as the Rams go for it in 2026. Not to mention, a lot can change between now and the trade deadline and what isn't a ma sive need right now could become one down the road. Given how aggre sive general manager Les Snead typically is, it wouldn't be at all shocking to see Crosby in Los Angeles by the trade deadline. Paul Butler Jersey |
