Brady receives 28M signing bonus in new extension

Brady's base salaries in 2015 and 2016 drop from $9 million to $1 million. In 2018 and 2019, Brady will have base salaries of $14 million with roster bonuses of $1 million each year. Brady, set to turn 39 in August, will have salary cap numbers of $14 million in each of Kyle Funkhouser Jersey  the next two years. That number shaves off a few million from the Pats' cap -- Brady was set to count $15 million against the cap next season and another $16 million in 2017 under his former deal. The quarterback's cap number is set to jump to $22 million in the two final years of the deal. This entire contract minutia is for the capologists.
